Get Inked, Raise Awareness About Sexual Assault

Tattoos (well, good tattoos) are sexy. And tattoos that raise awareness about important issues? So fucking hot.

Which is why Boinkology was really excited to learn about Safe Horizon’s new sexual assault awareness campaign. Rather than simply relying on flyers and handouts, Safe Horizon is encouraging people to use their bodies as billboards, donning a temporary tattoo that carries a message about sexual assault.

Sign up at Safe Horizon’s website, and you’ll receive your very own tattoo (a graphical treatment of the words “No Disrespect”), domestic violence and abuse tip cards (so you can educate yourself), and hotline cards (to give to anyone seeking help). Then whenever someone comments on your hot new tat, you can start up a conversation about sexual assault and domestic violence — and let everyone in hearing distance know just how serious (and prevalent) these two issues really are.
