The British Heart Foundation has unrolled a new ad campaign to encourage the over 50 set to get their 30 minutes a day of exercise — any way they can.
We like the sentiment that exercise is sexy (and sex is exercisey?), especially since the BHF seems to be okay with public sex. And sex for the boomer set (shocking but true: the sex drive doesn’t die after you hit 50!).
Apparently, our feelings aren’t universal: the Advertising Standards Authority received 75 complaints about the billboard (cause, uh, old people having sex is offensive? Public sex is offensive? Old people making out on the beach is offensive? Something…). Thankfully, the ASA chose to close the case, rather than banning a sensible, important message.
Score one for the pro-sex movement, I guess!
