We must begin this post with a very important disclaimer: if you are having sex, and using condoms, it is extremely important that you never, ever layer condoms. Putting two condoms on a penis creates friction that results in the break down of both condoms, rendering them useless.

That said: we were fascinated by My Science Project’s attempt to learn how many condoms can fit on a dildo. How stretchy are condoms? How strong? The answers may surprise you — they certainly surprised us!

The condoms used in this experiment were unlubricated Durex “Natural Feeling” condoms. We’re curious how the experiment might have been altered by the use of lubricated condoms — or condoms of variable sizes, which, we’re told, are the wave of the future.
