We’re suckers for nice jewelry and body mods. We’re also suckers for items that promise to reveal our inner feelings — or, even better, everyone else’s. So it’s not surprising that we’re totally into Skintile, the Electronic Sensing Jewelry.
Somewhere between a mood ring, stick-on jewelry, and wearable computing, Skintile claims to “[explore] a range of functionalities in new product forms that are playful, sensual, mood affected, bio activity stimulated, and arousal enhancing.”
Is it just us, or is this totally sexy? We’re stuck with an image of that flower lighting up to signify that, oh yeah, we’re in that mood. Which, granted, could be inconvenient in some situations — at work, for example — but totally, totally hot in the right place, at the right time, with the right person.
