A thirteen-year-old girl from Massachusetts was recently confronted with some hardcore porn while flipping through the pages of a “Gossip Girl” novel. And she’s not the only one — apparently, the Marblehead Library has been the victim of multiple porn-in-YA-novels attacks, and local parents are starting to get concerned.

While we definitely agree that porn should be kept out of the YA section (it’s for adults, not young adults!), we’re more than a little amused that it happened to be found in the pages of “Gossip Girl.” Given that the book — and spinoff TV — series is pretty much about sex, drugs, and sex, well — isn’t it basically just porn for minors anyway?
