We often wonder what we’d do without text messaging. So much less invasive than a phone call, yet more immediate than an email: the perfect way to say, “Hey, I’m thinking about fucking you right now. Wanna do it?”

Apparently, we’re not the only ones who feel this way. Turns out flirty texts are all the rage in the UK — and we’re willing to bet it’s not just the Brits who are getting up to some naughty texting.

Of course, all this flirty texting (which, for the record, we refuse to call “flexting”) has created a need for some new dating etiquette. How long should you wait to respond to a text?
