Marijuana Will Make You A Slut, Laughingstock of School

We’ve never been a huge fan of those “Above The Influence” ads: call us crazy, but those lies about how smoking marijuana will make you kill babies just never really sat right with us. And this latest addition to the “Above The Influence” family isn’t much better: apparently, smoking marijuana will turn you into the school ho.

This ad bears more than a passing resemblance to an episode of “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” in which Manny Santos drinks a wee bit too much vodka and gets a wee bit too naked in front of a creepy boy’s video camera (and then watches as the clip gets emailed all around the school). Leave it to the American government to produce an anti-drug ad that’s both full of lies and unoriginal — two for two, man!
