Everyone loves masturbation. Yet for some reason, not everyone loves talking about it — which means many people (and especially women) don’t get the information they need about how awesome, healthy, and wonderful self loving is. And really, that’s just sad.

So needless to say, we’re super grateful for Jamye Waxman‘s new book, Getting Off. Part history lesson, part how-to, this book is chock full of everything you ever wanted to know about female masturbation (and has beautiful illustrations by Molly Crabapple, too!).

Over at Boinkology HQ, we’re a bunch of master masturbaters, but even we learned a few things from reading this book. And if you know any masturbation newbies, or teenage girls, we highly recommend you give them a copy of this book. For Christmas, Chanuka, or hell, even Thanksgiving — lord knows, masturbation is something we’re very, very thankful for.
