Dumping 2.0

NOTE: The original image has been removed from Flickr. You can now find it here.

What’s the worst possible way you could dump someone? Over the phone? Through email? Via text message? A Twitter tweet? How about through your Facebook status update? That’s how Sandra E. Soroka let someone know that things were officially over.

When it comes to breakups, we like to think that the method of choice reflects a little something about the relationship. Serious relationships usually require an in person ending, while more casual affairs can call it quits via phone or email — or, dare we say it, the slow fade.

That said, we’re still wondering: what exactly should we make of a relationship that ends via Facebook? Well, in her words:

You know when you break promises, disrespect and take someone for granted, I don’t feel that he deserves a face to face break up.

UPDATE: Turns out, this wasn’t just a Facebook breakup — it was a Facebook breakup that was also put on Digg.
