When Jakob Lodwick and Julia Allison started posting their relationship online, we kinda had to wonder just how honest they were going to be. Sure, it’s easy to share the good times — but were they really going to live up to their promises and show us everything? Were we really going to see an uncensored view of their private lives, even when times got rough?

If today’s posts are any indication, well, in a word: yes. We’ve just witnessed our first relationship blog bitch fight: and man, it ain’t pretty. Here are a few of the highlights.

How it all began:

I’m taking Jakob to a surprise tonight, which I spent time thinking about and planning. I spent two hours editing the video below last night. I took care of him yesterday and the day before. I booked our tickets home for Christmas at my parents house, which – as everyone knows, is a complete pain. I took him on an ALL EXPENSES PAID vacation to the Dominican Republic – and I had to pay for the cabs to and from because HE DIDN’T HAVE MONEY. What did I get in return? Maybe a vague thank you. I pay for things all of the time with him, even though I make significantly less than him, because his ATM card doesn’t work and he doesn’t own a credit card. The other day we were out to dinner, he didn’t have money, and I paid. He didn’t even bother to thank me. What the fuck??

Then the real issue comes out:

Not to mention that despite SIGNING AN AGREEMENT with me, he has not posted two posts a day to this site, nor has he made any original videos.

Jakob responds:

I don’t think a public website is the appropriate forum for this type of discussion. [Ed.: Oh, the irony of posting that on a public website!]

And the resolution:

Dear Jakob,

Fuck you.

This was YOUR idea in the first place.

I just took you to see the Grinch, and you were an ass the entire night. You didn’t like the video I made for you. [Ed.: And apparently, that was enough to get her to lock it on Vimeo.] You said that you “never would have made a video like that for anyone.” You told me that maybe I should be more selfish.

I think it’s really sad. I think you’re really sad.
