Why yes, it seems that it is the end of JakobAndJulia.com — our man Mr. Lodwick has realized that putting your relationship all over the Internet isn’t just happy puppies and rainbows. We were never all that into the whole relationship blog thing, anyway, and reading through Jakob’s explanation makes us respect him a little bit more.
Our favorite part?
I wish this site could have blossomed into something amazing. Unfortunately, I’m not willing to sacrifice my sanity to an experiment. I also don’t like dealing with Julia knowing that whatever I say could be judged by thousands of strangers. They are welcome to judge my photographs, my articles, and my videos… but this personal stuff? I’m finding myself unable to name a reason for giving it to them. I don’t enjoy the attention anymore.
Why Jakob, you’ve grown up right before our eyes! And hey, for insight like that, your hotness just went up from a 3 to a 5!

I love how the blog was HIS idea yet when it started to (naturally) expose his (many) failings as a partner he wimped out and declared that it was an inappropriate way to have a relationship. Now he gets credit for the blog idea AND the maturity to see how dumb it is too! Whatever. Poor Julia, she could do so much better than that typical, boring, whining soft little man-child.
