In what is perhaps the most redundant move ever, Facebook recently announced the upcoming launch of a dating feature. Yes kids, soon you’ll be able to use Facebook to find a date — cause lord knows you weren’t doing that already!
Specifically, Facebook will be partnering with Match.com to offer Little Black Book, a matchmaking service that pulls from Match.com and Facebook profiles to suggest potential dates for its users.
The personals and unpersonals are colliding! We don’t even know what to make of this — but at least Facebook is owning up and admitting that the main (only) reason to be online is getting some booty.

This is lame. Match.com is for losers, they should have teamed up with OKCupid (and given them $2 million to fix bugs while they’re at it).
December 19th, 2007 at 2:01 pmI’m pretty pumped about this Match.com app. The online dating space is super competitive so this is a really smart move. I can’t see any negatives here. If you’re interested, grab the app. If not, shut the f&%*$ up. Let us single dudes try to find some love and you can go take care of your kids and buy some diamonds from one of these lame companies that are trying to hypnotize me.
