Speed Dating for the Eco-Friendly

Eco-friendly? Love speed dating? Desperately looking for a way to combine the two? Well, if you’re in the UK, you might just be in luck: BTCV, the largest practical conservation charity in the country, is organizing “eco-dating” for singles in York.

What’s so eco about eco-dating? Instead of bonding over coffee or drinks, eco-daters bond over planting a hedgerow, which helps to restore the environment. Saving the earth while getting the chance to score? This could just be the best of both worlds — well, except for the speed dating part.

    Hmmmm.

This hits at a very important, but overlooked, aspect of dating.

We like to date at night.

    Why?

    Better lighting and alcohol.

    Sad but true.
