Not surprisingly, “Teeth” is not the first horror flick to focus on fears of female sexuality — the Philadelphia Weekly has a round up of movies throughout the years that have found fright between the open legs of the ladies.
Some of these pieces actually appear to be satires, or at least not completely anti-lady or anti-sex, so maybe there is hope for the theory that “Teeth” is a, uh, biting satire. Of course, even if it’s not intended to be down on the ladies getting it on, it still seems heavy on the “men are rapists” message, which — for the record — is not any better than saying that women who fuck are sluts.

If men are rapists, why are our penises so large and our testicles only middle-sized compared to our primate cousins?
Our ancestors practiced inconsistent monogamy. Monogamy requires at least two people.
