Valentine’s Day is around the corner, so you’d best get yourself ready for a weeklong onslaught of “meet cute” and “perfect match” stories. The New York Daily News has hit the ground running with this weekend’s segment on how romance can bud at any age — if by “any age” you mean 20′s through 50′s.
That aside, the piece is a sweet little look at four unlikely love stories, and also happens to feature Jalopnik’s Ray Wert, who we’re pretty fond of. If you’re in the mood for some inspirational romance, check out the piece: it’s a heartwarming way to kick of a week of flowers, candy hearts, and commercialized love.
