
It’s hard to believe, but NYC condoms have been around for an entire year. To celebrate their first birthday, NYC commissioned industrial designer Yves BĂ©har to give the groundbreaking condoms a fresh new look — and a swank new dispenser, too.
And just in case you didn’t think NYC was committed to safer sex: check out the city-produced TV spots advertising the condom’s new look (and encouraging New Yorkers to “get some”). In order to reach the broadest possible audience, the ads come in Latin, jazz, and hip hop flavors; they’re also available in both Spanish and English. Now that’s dedication.
