It looks like Barack Obama has secured a major endorsement from the powerful pet lobby. Yes We Can Has recently launched to help support Senator Obama’s campaign for the presidency. Even though pets technically can’t vote and it’s not clear what policy issues Obama supports, this endorsement couldn’t have come at a better time.
It’s been reported that 63 percent of all U.S. households own a pet, which equates to more than 69 million households with highly influential furry friends. With major primaries coming up in both Texas and Ohio on March 4th and with Obama in nearly a dead tie with Clinton yes he can use all the help he can get.

Obama has already locked up key endorsements from both Tionna Smalls, and Lux Alptraum.
Hillary Clinton representatives did not return our calls for comment.
Thanks for the tip Nick!

February 23rd, 2008 at 10:57 amRemember what mrs. bill clinton did to poor Socks, when the fun was over (i.e. when they left the White House)? She dumped the kitten! No one who treats pets like that is worth any respect. My four cats would gladly scratch her big time!
