What To Wear When You Tell The World You’ve Been Cheating

Going on national television to let the world know you’ve been cheating must be really difficult. Thankfully so many politicians have done it already there’s now a guide for what to wear if you happen to find yourself under the spotlight.

Click here to view the guide.

1. If you own an American flag pin wear it to prove you’re still patriotic, even if you aren’t so loyal.
2. Your wife should wear any sort of soft blue lady power suit. Studies show blue to be disarming, bad Hillary!
3. Nothing says I’ll stand by you more than a pearl necklace. (Only applies to Democrats)
4. A red, white and blue diagonally striped tie is purely optional but says a lot about your interests.*
5. Don’t forget to wear something different but still classy, when you check yourself into rehab in 3… 2…

*Lines traveling from left to right indicate you like the gay sex while lines positioned from right to left mean you enjoy the straight sex.

  • The Scoot says :

Elliot Spitzer cheats with a prostitute, and the whole country knows it. Kwame Kilpatrick cheats with his chief of staff, robs the city blind with a contractor, and tries to cover it up with a nine million dollar confidential settlement…

Nobody outside the tri-county area knows. I’d cry if I thought it would help.

Pants must be optional. Ergo the podiums.

  • Improbable says :

One wonders what compels all the wives to actually stand there, instead of letting their husbands deal with the press alone (besides Hillary, it was likely a political calculation for her). I’m sure some of them would prefer to avoid the press entirely.

Then again, sometimes it takes two to ruin a sexual relationship, so maybe some of the wives deserve partial credit for the situation. Can you imagine if a politician was caught with a prostitute, and apologized to the press, and then the wife called her own press conference: “Ladies and gentlemen of the press, I do not satisfy my husband’s sexual needs any longer. I have not performed fellatio on him since our 10th wedding anniversary, and have been unwilling to discuss it with him, or any aspect of our sex life. I apologize to the people of [nation/state/congressional district] for being such a frigid bitch, and for driving my husband into another woman’s [arms/mouth/hoo-hoo] in order to be sexually fulfilled.”

Also, just want to remind everyone that the larger ethical issue in the McGreevy scandal was that he got his gay lover a government job for which he was totally unqualified.

  • Isil says :

What compels wives to stand by their husbands?

I think the very same reason that moved them to marry a politician in the first place; love.

  • Client 99 says :

This is all Silda’s fault. She obviously vacated her role as sole source supplier of adult fun and fantasy for her husband. How any spouses can bill 3200 hours and still maintain a truly meaningful physical relationship with her/his partner? It is impossible.

She should look within for the reasons for her husband maintaining a relationship outside the marriage.

  • Theo Armour says :

    Pearls behind swine, no?

  • C.S. Lewiston says :

Democrats cheat on their wives and they get impeached, or driven from office

Republicans do the same things or worse (at least Governor Spitzer wasn’t soliciting sex from strange men in bathrooms like Bob Allen or Larry Craig) and they all get virtual pardons.

Where did this bullshit double standard come from? Is it because Democrats are all “liberals” while Repubs are all “Godly patriots”?
