We’ve always been a fan of panties that make a political statement (anyone remember Axis of Eve?). So how could we not love Agent Provocateur’s “Fair Trial My Arse” panties?

The panties came about after Joe Corre, the co-founder of Agent Provocateur, learned that UK human rights charity Reprieve was in a bit of trouble after some members had been accused of smuggling underwear to a Guantanamo Bay prisoner (for reasons we can’t understand, this is verboten). And the panties aren’t just about making a cheeky (ha!) statement about the state of affairs at Guantanamo Bay — half the proceeds go to support Reprieve.

Wow. Hot underwear that makes a political statement and directly benefits human rights? We may have to start stocking our underwear drawer exclusively with Agent Provocateur.
