There’s been a image we haven’t been able to get out of our heads since we first saw the ad for the Samsung Miniskirt Season 2.
Maybe they meant to call it the Samsung Upskirt?
Wow, I am really upset by this advertisement.
Taking pictures up young women’s skirts without their permission is inappropriate, and something that has been happening without legal repercussions. (http://karenrayne.com/2008/03/13/peeping-tom-or-child-porn/)
While I’m sure that Samsung did not mean to overtly state that their phones could be used for this purpose, this advertisement sure suggests it.
I couldn’t agree more. I was sorta surprised that Samsung would put together an ad with a camera phone placed so… strategically, as it were.
And yeah, upskirting is a pretty gross phenomenon (to put it mildly).
(And just to be clear: the image that appears here is a modified version of the original ad, not the actual ad, which is slightly less salacious.)
Ugh… Samsung, for all your digital misogyny needs!
Lol, i love it
