It’s hard to believe, but Justin.tv has been around for over a year — and what a year it’s been! A year of shameless exhibitionism, webcam flashing, webcam sex (both suggested and actual), and, of course, policy changes, restrictive TOS, and scandal, scandal, scandal! To celebrate, we’ve put together a roundup of the some of the highlights of sex on Justin.tv:

Late March 2007: Justin.tv launches. Kan, who originally told reporters he wouldn’t get it on on cam, reframes his answer and tells Wired News that actually, he might — “Maybe… with a half-camera.”

4/3/07: (Almost) naked pix of Justin surface. Justin.tv becomes a vastly more interesting concept.

4/10/07: Justin has sex on cam. Sorta. Apparently, “half-cam” means taking off the camera, cutting the mic, and turning off the lights. Now that’s lifecasting integrity!

10/3/07: After adding a few select videocasters to their ranks, Justin.tv opens to the public, allowing anyone with a webcam and an Internet connection to join the party. The possibilities for sex on cam seem endless.

10/7/07: Justin.tv lifecaster Nick McGlynn banned for “risque” behavior — or, as we like to think of it, actual lifecasting. As McGlynn comments, “Half my life is spent naked — and sex is a quarter of that half.” As a result of McGlynn’s exposure, the entire site is temporarily taken down, and new community guidelines banning nudity are introduced.

10/15/07: An adult content warning is introduced on Justin.tv, allowing broadcasters to push the limits of the site’s previously “PG-13” standards.

10/19/07: Topless girls making out prove that — try as they might — Justin.tv staff just can’t keep lifecasting sex-free. Translation: OMG LESBIANS!

Present Day: Justin.tv turns one. There’s less porn, as far as we know — but given the sheer quantity of video being put out by Justin.tv users, can we really be sure? [Valleywag estimates 57 years worth of footage. Christ.] Voyeurs too lazy to seek out nudie bits on their own can rely on noted blog Justin TV Gossip to give them the highlights.
