Have you heard about this Subway Crush thing? Yeah, apparently someone decided that Craigslist Missed Connections just wasn’t specific enough, so they went and made their very own site that’s like Craigslist Missed Connections for the NYC subway system. (Okay, okay, it’s better looking than Craigslist by far, and we’re willing to bet the crazies haven’t found it… yet.)

But seriously, folks: while this kind of system works in theory, and occasionally in practice, if you really want to find that alluring stranger, you’re going to have to pull a Patrick Moberg. Which is to say: make a cute website, have (Internet)famous friends, and have your search publicized beyond belief and put all over the news.

Much as we like to believe in the power of the Internet, well… for this kinda thing, it helps to have the power of Jakob Lodwick as well.
