Pornofortheblind.org bills itself as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to producing audio descriptions of sample movie clips from adult web sites. How does it work you ask? I’ll show you!

If I were blind, I wouldn’t want you to describe a porn site to me, I’d want you to read me a dirty story.

September 25th, 2008 at 8:58 amScreen readers and other technology make searching the internet very possible for blind users. System Access and things such as Serotek are quite lovely and work well. (Although not all websites are accessible. Facebook is a notorious one for sucking pretty badly.)
I have yet to hear of any blind people who actually enjoy http://www.pornfortheblind.org. It just seems like a bunch of wanky porn viewers who don’t know how to describe porn properly. What’s more, what’s up with the keeping clean language thing? And, as one of my friends pointed out, the reading out of the web address and the description of the page itself take far too long, and suck all interest out of hearing about a one minute clip.
In other words, pornfortheblind.org is pretty useless.

I record first person stories where I am talking directly to you(the listener) So you become part of the story not just listening to some woman talk about something she did with some other guy. If you know anyone that happens to be blind please let them know about my site. You have to sign up for a free membership then you can listen to the samples and for less than .70 a day you can get full access to the full stories. Rate them and suggest new stories.
