In the 2006 documentary about him, Slavoj Žižek (philosopher and all-around fun guy) said “love is evil”. In his verbose way, he basically said that love is an act of violence where you pick someone at the exclusion of all others, and – because of this – love contributes to the imbalance of everything in the universe. Honestly, the dude has a point: regardless of whether we are on the half-full or half-empty side of the equation love has a way of making you batty, anxious, and very un-zen. Description: This brief but beautiful track is totally lush, with big strings, jangling drums, and tambourines. All that’s missing is maybe a harp and a choir at the end.
