Sexy ads for gyms are not unusual. But gyms with “18 and over” warnings on the front page of their website? Well, that’s something else.
Of course, the Anti-Gym — based in Denver — is no ordinary gym (could you tell by the name?). We’re not 100% sure why it’s not like other gyms, though. Aside from its clever marketing campaign and penchant for talking about having sex with the lights on… well, it’s a gym, isn’t it?
Okay, a gym with a website generously decorated with pictures of girls making out. Though no actual porn — that 18+ warning is such a tease!

May 7th, 2008 at 2:05 pmI’m quite fat and I have sex with the lights on all the time…and my partner loves it. Given the amount of fattie porn and burlesque and whatnot out there, so do many other people. They are trying to further the idea that fat sexuality be hidden and in the dark…or that we’re not allowed sexuality until we become thin. And of course given this shaming, they position themselves as the “logical” answer to such sexual woe.
Moral of the story: Don’t let Anti-Gym shame you out of getting sexual satisfaction in whatever lighting you desire, regardless of your size or your partner/s’.
