It can happen to anyone. Your “private” videos are stolen and reposted on amateur websites for someone else’s profit. And once they’re in someone else’s hands, there’s no turning back.
It happens all the time, in fact. Professionals set up amateur websites filled with photo and video galleries collected from all over the internet. People want good amateur porn and they’re willing to pay for it. If you’re making it, someone will find a way to steal it.
Here’s a video from a couple on XTube who recently found out that this was happening to them. They call themselves Quality Couple and they decided to post a “we quit” video on the site that made them “fucking famous.”
Their intentions are good but extremely misguided. Sure, you’ve made it so your video is not downloadable or you’ve disabled embedding it — that won’t do anything to deter people from stealing it. Trust me.
Even Quality Couple’s idea that a pin number might somehow keep the video between them and the 1,400 friends they have made is incorrect. Many times, the people stealing amateur porn videos are professionals who use a screen recording program to make a copy of your video — much the same way you might take a screenshot.
Before you decide to upload, make sure that both you and your partner discuss the consequences of posting anything dirty online. You should both be completely fine with having your co-workers, your friends, and your family see it — and yes, that includes your parents and children. When you post something on the internet, you’re showing it to the entire world. If you’re both not okay with that, you should just keep those dirty photos and videos to yourselves.
