As you’re probably aware, June is Gay Pride Month. To show our gay pride, we’re having Gay Week over at Boinkology: from Monday to Friday, it’s all gay posts, all the gay time.

A gay rap opera might sound like a bit of an oxymoron but — believe it not — that’s the actual, factual description of “Bash’d”, a hip-hop musical about gay marriage and gay bashing that’s running this month at the Zipper Factory.

Taking a historically homophobic medium and using it to promote messages of tolerance for alternative sexualities? Sounds pretty awesome to us. We’ll be sure to check out the show ASAP (gaySAP?).
