  The porn article was interesting, but she did completely skip the fact that some people don’t like it because a lot of it is degrading. Not because they’re naked and having sex, but because the majority that I’ve seen has the male degrading the female.

  Maybe I just sucked at searching.

  I don’t know how I feel about porn..my opinions on it are all jumbled.

  My dayjob is at Fleshbot, and I can def say that there’s a lot of porn that is made specifically with the intent of not degrading women. It might be harder to find, but it’s definitely out there.

  At its core, porn is fundamentally just pictures of people doing it. It’s not inherently one kind of sex or another — it’s all different kinds, and it can be made to please all different kinds of people.

  I know there’s some out there. I haven’t searched myself, but I’ve read a lot about feminist porn, female-positive porn etc.

  I’m in a relationship where my partner isn’t cool with me looking at porn, and he doesn’t either..aand since my feelings are muddled on it anyway, I haven’t put that much thought into it lately (on a personal level, in any case. I read about all the time).

  I have nothing against porn, really. I just want everyone to be happy and safe in it. I worry about how safe/happy everyone is, because most articles about it are pretty biased in their reportings of its participants.

  Degrading can be fun in the right setting, anyway, so I don’t really think that kind should go away either!

  God, my feelings are confused on this subject, hah.
