Over the past year or so, we’ve noticed a dramatic increase in the number of “eco-friendly” sex products: organic lubes, sustainable sex toys, vegan condoms. And really, we can’t say we’re surprised by this development: with all the traction the green movement has gained in recent years (and all the “green” marketing that’s ensued), it was only a matter of time before the sex industry saw the light.
As far as we’re concerned, this is a pretty awesome trend. After all, there’s nothing sexier than going green, right? (Okay, maybe there are a few things, but knowing our loving is carbon neutral is a pretty good feeling.) We just hope all the organic products stick around after everyone loses interest in going green — cause, hey, some of them are actually good.
