The altporn girl in a pair of Chuck Taylors is a tried and true — if a bit cliche — image. From the Suicide Girls to the starlets of Burning Angel, any naked girl worth her alt has probably donned a pair of Chucks (how else would you know they were punk?). But are all those girls in Chucks and Vans actually the subject of some inadvertent (and potentially illegal) product placement? Ad Age investigates.
In other news, if Ad Age is writing about altporn, does that mean the trend is finally completely, totally mainstream?

August 28th, 2008 at 4:07 pmit must be hard to find clothes aren’t brand apparent in general for films. i feel like it shouldn’t be illegal to do that anyway. i understand brands want to protect their image, but it seems kind of unfair.
