SUBMITED BY GARRETT: Browse the aisles of your local sex shop and you’re likely to find a plethora of porn in almost every variety. From typical straight porn to the “alt” variety to bondage and fetish to lesbian to “girl on girl” to pretty much any numerical variation of ofices you can dream up.
But while you might find a great deal of gay porn, you might have a tough time finding bisexual male porn.
This is not to say it’s not out there, but while the quality and care going into most other kinds of porn is increasing with the indy movement, bi-male porn is still a bit of a wasteland. For every excellent film like “The Bi-Apple” or “Slide Bi-Me” you have scads of strange “European” movies that make the cliches of 80’s porn look positively erotic.
Where’s the great indie porn for bi-guys? Are the usual excuses (stigma about STIs, gay panic and just good old fashioned homophobia) really that prevalent? After all, Porn stars like Christian from the “Chemistry” series have done guy on guy scenes.
There’s clearly a market out there for good, clearn guy on guy, with occasional girl, porn. What’s holding it back?

I don’t think bisexual men, collectively, really care that much about sex.
There will always be the fringe bi-male group that is intent on resisting social engineering but they seem to be far and few in between, from my experience.

And growing up, my bi friends have also had this tendency. I think it is something about being a truly bi person, that you have a liking for one on one sex.

Isn’t that a self fulfilling prophecy, though? Porn companies assume that only straight men watch porn, so they: a) only make porn for straight men and b) only market porn to straight men. It’s the same argument against porn for women — but I have a feeling that if someone made porn that actually appealed to women/bisexual guys/people who like bisexual guys and marketed it properly, it’d do just fine.
I mean, hell — by your logic, one would assume that no one would want to see Buck Angel, the man with a pussy, get fucked by… well, Buck fucks men and women (and hey, other transpeople too!). Yet somehow, he’s a big star.
